Jade Tang-Taylor | CEO
Jade brings a wide range of experience of Design & Social Innovation space in Aotearoa New Zealand. As a Strategic Designer, Facilitator, Innovator, Collaborator & Educator, Jade is deeply passionate about Co-Designing Better Futures. Jade is a firm believer in tangata tiriti meaningfully partnering with tangata whenua, and collaborating with diverse people of lived experience to co-create innovative solutions with those most impacted.
Jade’s career has been more of a squiggly line, than a straight line. Prior to joining ThinkPlace, Jade worked on a myriad of game-changing projects with change-making organisations. She was most recently Innovation Director at AcademyEX | Tech Futures Lab, has been part of the leadership team at Foundation North, an associate at the Centre for Social Impact, Toi Āria & Innovation Unit, co-founder of the social change creative agency Curative, and co-host of CreativeMornings/AKL chapter.
Jade is a lifelong learner, she’s currently curious around the intersection of Design Thinking, Systems Thinking & Futures Thinking. She holds a Masters of Arts Management from AUT University, with distinction and most recently embarked on a Designing for Social Systems masterclass at Stanford D. School.

Amy De Hamel | CTO
Amy's career includes roles as executive leader, advisor, board member and investor, for both start-up and established organisations and spanning everything from strategic development, people and performance, risk management and governance through to technology strategy, product development, design management and operational excellence.
Amy is the current CEO for Pixel Fusion and have also held roles including Head of Product and Strategy for Pixel Fusion, Founder and Consultant of Grow SaaS Ltd, Consultant with iExecute SaaS Ltd and Product Manager with GeoOp.

Amanda Hunter | CRO
Amanda is a social researcher and sense maker at Dovetail with experience in quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods research across sectors including health, criminal justice, education and social services.
Amanda has a Masters degree in Criminology, and over the last four years she has been working with non-profit organisations to understand and build on the impact of social outcomes programmes and services. Most recently her work has focused on monitoring and evaluation frameworks that facilitate process improvement and help secure sustainable funding streams.
Amanda uses a range of evaluation tools and techniques in her research and has extensive experience working with vulnerable individuals and communities including children and whānau accessing social services, individuals with dementia, and clients seeking support for suicidal ideation.
Amanda is passionate about producing research and evaluation outputs that are pragmatic and accessible, using mixed media, data visualisations and targeted report types to ensure that findings are approachable, and recommendations are practical.
